The Austrian Baseball federation is going to hold a national contest to determine the hardest thrower in Austria. At Finkstonball XIII you also have the possibility to take part at this competition. 100 days till Finkstonball XIII and we can proudly present the line up for this year. The following teams confirmed participation: Attnang-Puchheim Athletics (AUT) Bad Homburg Hornets (GER) BSK Vindija (CRO) Sissach Frogs (SUI) BC Wolfs Domazlice (CZE) Flyers Therwil (SUI) Dinamo Bucharest (ROM) White Sharks (POR) Weert Indians (NED) Hluboka Cardinals (CZE) Kranski Lisjaki (SLO) Northern Knights (GBR) Among 12 Teams we have very strong teams from all over Europe who already participated in past years. Our two new teams are the Therwil Flyers from Switzerland, who won the Swiss Championship in 2009 and the White Sharks from Portugal, Portuguese champion 2008, a nation, which has never attended before. In addition to that 7 of the 12 Teams participated in the last three years at a European Cup at least once. The line up for our festival is also already online at www.pfingstspektakel.com . | 30.12.2009 | First steps to Finkstonball XIII |
Like every year, the preperations for the next Finkstonball start with the new year. We will send out the invitations in January to our frequenters and then to all interested teams. The date of Finkstonball XIII will be 21st to 24th of May 2010 and as we can say now, the quality of the tournament will be better than ever before. Lots of top-teams all over Europe already showed their interest to participate.
