The home team Athletics topped the Austrian National Team with a grand slam homerun, power by James Brown. Final score: 4:1

Both teams started of shy in the offense, played solid defense and the pitchers put on a great show. It took the A’s until the fourth inning to success against the Austrian Pitcher Mo Scheicher. Team Austria had the chance for revenge in the very next inning, but at highlight-wheel double play ended the inning with the bases loaded.

Tyler Thompson handed over the ball to Mack Boon, who gave up a final run to the Austrian  batters, but other than that, no more harm was done to Attnang’s home town boys.
